SSR, the Surgeon Physician Consultant at Mulai

Hospital famed Healer beside Dr. Chacko --

To me, the now Dr. Amma and grandma

From my Grandma of Uduvil

Across Lovelane

Home-made Iddyappam

Still spun with joy

Shared with stories

Across Time and Space

Nevertheless Historic

Franklin or Uduvil

Of our mothers mothers who lived 

In our circa 1860s Ancestral house

Across LoveLane Uduvil

Philanthropic aristocracy, yet austere

I grew up in awe 

Watching my grandma 

An Uduvil Cambridge Senior grad

Humbly toil for family everyday praying

And we Pray that we

By God's Grace

Preserve their paths

Their living spirit, the verve

The ground their feet touched

Walls that echoed their Prayers

Be the knowledge source of Peace

With Lily blooms forever exemplary

Serve and inspire all

Generations to come!

What I was raised on...

From Kindergarten drink bottle

Oh, our mother 

raised us with best

there is to feed us

-- the poor eaters 

I have ever known

yet were tireless

as children

and relent;ess as adults

we grew...

- A mature adult in Singapore  -

the blackcurrent juice

fills my thirst

and I thirst for that love

relentless kind I even knew
